This policy explains what personal information Lamb&Ewe collects, how we use it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and the details of what you bought. If you order a personalised item, that includes the name or text you asked us to apply.

Payment details are handled by Shopify and the payment provider you choose at checkout. We don't see or store your full card number.

When you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, time zone, which pages and products you looked at, and how you arrived at our site. This is collected through cookies, log files and tracking pixels.

If you join our mailing list: your email address and any preferences you give us.

Why we collect it

• To make and send your order, and to contact you about it
• To answer your questions
• To check orders for fraud
• To understand how people use our site so we can improve it
• To send you marketing, if you've asked to receive it
• To meet our legal and tax obligations

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services we need to run the shop:

• Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders
• Australia Post, to deliver your parcel
• Payment providers you choose at checkout, such as PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay
• Shopify Email, which sends our marketing emails
• IONOS, which hosts our email, so anything you send us is stored there
• Google Analytics, which tells us how the site is used
• Meta, through a tracking pixel used for advertising

We don't sell your personal information.

Some of these providers store data overseas, including in the United States. By using our site you consent to your information being handled that way.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing to people who've opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribes promptly. You can also email support@lambandewe.com and ask us to remove you.

Unsubscribing from marketing doesn't stop order confirmations and delivery updates, which we need to send you.

Advertising and cookies

We use cookies and tracking pixels to understand how our site is used and to show ads to people who've visited us.

You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work properly. You can also opt out of personalised advertising through your Google and Meta account settings, or through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page at optout.aboutads.info.

Personalisation details

If you order a personalised item, we keep the name or text you supplied as part of your order record. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't share it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for at least five years, as Australian tax law requires.

Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Analytics and advertising data is kept according to the retention settings of the services above.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@lambandewe.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

We can't delete information we're legally required to keep, such as tax records for past orders, but we can remove you from marketing and delete anything we don't need.

If you have a concern

Email support@lambandewe.com and tell us what's wrong. We'll look into it and come back to you.

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Children

Our products are for children, but our site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
